The Hatters have a full strength squad to choose from ahead of their Blue Square Bet Premier clash with fellow promotion pushers Macclesfield Town.

Wayne Thomas will be included in the travelling party after his permit application issues were finally resolved allowing him to bolster manager Paul Buckle's defensive options.

“He will bring some much needed experience into our squad,” said Buckle about the 33-year-old.

After finally resolving his contractual application following his move from Greek side Veroia Thomas will officially be in contention to make his Hatters début.

“I think after 15 days or something you get the clearance - don't ask me to go into the rules but I've been told he can play so that's a big plus that he is in the squad,” Buckle said.

“He's probably not as match fit as he would like, that is a slight problem but at the same time he has got unbelievable experience.

“He has got a wealth of experience, I don't think in games we've been over troubled at the back, I don't think anyone has over troubled us, I really don't. I just think we have caused ourselves problems and with his experience I'm hoping that he can settle us down and cut out the silly errors.”

In addition to Thomas' availability the Hatters welcome back Lathaniel Rowe-Turner after he completed his three-game suspension against Millwall. Buckle will also welcome back Simon Ainge who is available again after recovering from a foot injury.

Jake Woolley and Alex Lacey, who appeared on the bench for the Hatters against Millwall will return to their loan clubs Buckle confirmed.

“They were called back especially for that so they will go back out,” he said,

“They've been doing excellently well out on loan so they will be back for their game this evening.”
